Hinged gilt brass movement with verge escapement, fusee and chain, full plate and baluster pillars, snake is mounted on a gear driven by the main train, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer five minute divisions with Arabic numerals, aperture for regulator, snake revolves around the enameled scene, tempting Adam and Eve, and making one revolution of the dial per hour, gilt case transparent on both sides, back cover showing enameled scene depicting The Original Sin with Eve offering the apple to Adam in the Garden of Eden, surrounded by animals and the Tree of Knowledge, the Sin is represented by the Snake, bezel signed
