Gilt-finished movement hinged to the case, enamel dial with Roman numerals depicting two Eros holding the Arrows of Love, silver case, inner front cover depicting a woman looking at herself in a hand mirror held by Eros possibly depicting the Allegory of Virtue, outer front case depicting a Roman soldier holding a harp and a mirror and on either sides two ladies possibly depicting the Allegory of Music, Literature and Geography, back cover depicting a love scene of a Roman soldier with a Beauty accompanied by an Eros holding a bow possibly depicting the Allegory of Perfect Love, concealed erotic scene under the movement possibly depicting Lust, movement signed
