The later moulded eared D-shaped grey bardiglio marble top above a cavetto frieze with acanthus leaves and husks on a pounced ground, above a pierced acanthus-carved apron centred by a scallop shell, on grotesque mask-headed cabriole legs with lion's-paw feet, on a waisted square plinth surmounted by a later scallop shell on a gadrooned plinth, with an inventory label 'D2005', branded 'J C L' to underside of plinth, probably originally with a gilt-gesso top
