Depicting a portrait of the Brazilian actress Sonia Braga - the protagonist of the 1978 TV series Dancin' Days - on one side and a portrait of the Portuguese fado singer Amália Rodrigues on the other La regina di Rio (Dancin' Days vs. Amália Traïda) is a work drawn from Francesco's 2004 film, Amália Traïda. Amália Traïda was Vezzoli's own mock soap opera based on the life of Amália Rodrigues starring Sonia Braga in the lead role and narrated by Hollywood legend Lauren Bacall. This film, first exhibited at the 26th Biennale in Sao Paolo in 2004 and then at the 2007 exhibition 'Apocalittici e integrati: utopia nell'arte italiana di oggi' at the Maxxi in Rome, is now in their collection and also in the Museu Serralves collection in Porto.
