Patek Philippe Genève by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, 1982, German version, made in an edition of 3000 examples, with outer cardboard protective cover; including a colour photograph showing Christian Pfeiffer-Belli, Philippe Stern, Alan Banbery and Martin Huber in front of Patek Philippe's Salon in Geneva, taken during the ceremonial presentation of the present tome to Mr. Stern. The English translation of Mr. Huber's hand-written dedication in German reads PRESENTATION DE LUXE EDITION In memory of three years of collaboration with the Patek Philippe book, yours M. Huber, Geneva, 12.8.82.

Brunner, 1988, the introduction page bearing the original signatures of Henri Stern, Philippe Stern, Martin Huber and Alan Banbery, inscription This leather-bound de luxe edition was specially commissioned and made for Patek Philippe in a series of 21 copies. No. 12, outer cardboard protective cover. Containing a large number of affixed colour images, the boards covered with burgundy-coloured fabric.

No. 9, with outer cardboard protective cover. Delivered with the copy of the letter dated 14 December 1988 signed by Philippe Stern and Alan Banbery, addressed to the recipient of the present book, stating As you well know, our second book entitled "Patek Philippe Wristwatches" was published this year. It has met with immediate success world-wide, and is currently used as a standard reference book of our wrist-timepieces. Because of this, we are particularly pleased, and honoured, to now be able to present to you one of the luxury editions of the Patek Philippe book Volume II, which has been strictly limited to a series of 150 only. We trust that this book - a collectors item in its own right - will give you pleasure not only as a work-of-art, but equally as a token of our thanks and friendship.
The latter two limited editions were never available to the public but were used by the members of the Stern family for their private libraries. Examples were also given to those contributing to their creation, notably the present owner.

The four tomes were presented to the influential German watch expert and journalist who significantly contributed to their creation. Never used and treated with outmost care, the books are preserved in like new condition and represent an important addition to the library of any discerning collector or watch aficionado.
