A PAIR OF RUBY AND DIAMOND EARRINGS
Each designed as a flower head with a brilliant-cut diamond pistil, within a petal surround of cushion and oval-shaped rubies weighing 2.49, 2.17, 2.15, 2.01, 1.84 and 1.54 carats, alternating with pear-shaped diamonds, mounted in 18k white and yellow gold, 1.6 cm long
Accompanied by four reports dated 19 August 2002 from the Gem Research Swiss Lab stating that the 2.49, 2.15, 1.84 and 1.54 carat rubies are of Madagascar origin, pinkish-red to red colour, with no indication of thermal treatment
Two reports nos. 0103519 and 0103520 dated 15 March 2001 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the 2.17 and 2.01 carat ruby is of Madagascar origin, with no indications of heating
