Piaget's Grande Sonnerie Gouverneur repeating wristwatch was produced in a very limited number. It has been suggested that no more than ten watches were to be made, however a smaller number were actually ever produced. It is believed that the present white gold model is unique, however this has not been confirmed by the manufacturer.

The movement was made by Francois-Paul Journe and is unusual due to the racks rotating at the center. The visible gongs on the dial are slim and short with the striking mechanism and going train having a single setting and winding system.
