With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated November 1999, 18K pink gold solid screw back number 4'054'371, 18K pink gold and wooden setting pin, original fitted wooden presentation box and outer packaging. Furthermore delivered with the Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with opaline dial and rose gold obus indexes in 1999 and its subsequent sale on 24 September 1999.
To the best of our knowledge this watch has never been offered in public before.

The celebrated reference 3970 was in production from 1986 until 2004. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 305.
