With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated 7 October 2004, additional 18K white gold plain back no. 4'076'939, 18K white gold and wooden setting pin, sales tag, veneered presentation box and outer packaging. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with black dial and white gold Breguet hour markers in 2003 and its subsequent sale on 27 October 2003.

Reference 5041 is the rarest of all perpetual calendar watches of Patek Philippe's standard production. In production from 1995 to 2003, it is with the exception of the enlarged, flat bezel identical to reference 5040. Reference 5041 was exclusively made in white gold, with black dial and Breguet numerals. Although the exact production numbers are not publicly known, reference 5041 is clearly one of the rarest models featuring a perpetual calendar of recent production.
