Constructed by architect Eugène Beaudoin, the Jean Zay d'Antony University residence is considered a model for the modern day university campus. Organized like a town, it held two hundred rooms, two restaurants, a theater, a boutique and a library. This university was a collaboration between Jacque Hitier, Raphaël, Marcel Gascoin, Charlotte Perriand and Jean Prouvé.
