Tardy's Dictionnaire des Horolgers Francais lists two Gregsons working in Paris at the end of the 18th Century. Jean, Horologer du Roi (watchmaker of the King) and Pierre Horologer de la Cour de France (watchmaker of the French Royal Court). The Gregsons were renowned for their high quality, often ultra flat verge, virgule and cylinder movements and cases finely decorated with enamel.
