With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial and raised gold hour markers in 1947 and its subsequent sale on July 9th of the same year.

Reference 2406 was produced from 1945 until approximately 1951. The present example belongs to the first series with the caliber 12'''120 movement. The second series was manufactured with the 12'''400 caliber.
