Accompanied by a later Longines blue leather presentation box.
The Longines Caliber 13 ZN was the very first flyback chronograph movement made. A flyback chronograph uses a single push of a button to start, stop, and reset the chronograph function of the watch.
In 1913, Longines introduced its first caliber for a single push-piece wrist chronograph, the 13.33Z. In 1936, Longines introduced the chronograph caliber 13 ZN. Several versions were released: with either one or two push-pieces, a 30-minute semi-instantaneous counter, or a 60-minute continuous-action counter. Longines registered a patent for this caliber to protect the principle of the flyback.
