Accompanied by an undated Audemars Piguet Certificate of Authenticity, Juan Montoya leather presentation box and product literature.

Audemars Piguet's partnership with Columbian born F1 racing car driver Juan Pablo Montoya produced a rare and collectable timepiece that is of platinum and carbon fiber construction. The design concept is intended to demonstrate the unique F1 racing style. One can notice various details that echo the beauty of a race car. The octagonal bezel and case sides are set with carbon fiber inserts, the screw-in titanium crown is in the shape of a wheel nut, the chronograph pushers look like cooling flaps, and the rotor of the movement like a clutch disc. The unusual blue checkered dial that is only for the Juan Pablo Montoya Edition Royal Oak is reminiscent of the checkered race car flag.
