With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with porcelain-white dial and Breguet numerals in 1989 and its subsequent sale on 14 June 1989.

The celebrated "Officier" model was launched to commemorate Patek Philippe's 150th Anniversary in April 1989. It was made in a limited edition of 2000 pieces in yellow gold, 150 pieces in white gold and 50 pieces in platinum.

It is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 123.
