With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial, raised gold Breguet numerals, platinum plated bezel, chased and pounced ornament in 1927 and its subsequent sale on 8 September 1928.

The present watch is a perfect example of the most lavish 1920's design for rectangular wristwatches. The wonderful combination of the yellow gold hinged case and the platinum plated bezel in conjunction with the beautifully chased yellow gold sides and the Breguet numerals on the dial render it a truly rare and most elegant collector's watch. In fact, only one other example of that type of watch featuring the same combination of design elements is known.
