Henry Moore (1898-1986)
Property from the Collection of Carlton Lake Christie's is honored to offer the following drawings by Henry Moore from the collection of Carlton Lake, the longtime Paris art critic for The Christian Science Monitor. Mr. Lake also contributed to The New Yorker and The Atlantic Monthly, was curator at the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center, University of Texas, Austin, author of Confessions of a Literary Archeologist and co-author, with Françoise Gilot, of her 1964 memoir, Life with Picasso.
