Accompanied by four reports, all stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating:

- Report no. 1009740 dated 28 September 2010 from the Gübelin GemLab - Report no. CD80767 dated 27 September 2010 from the AGL American Gemological Laboratories and a letter stating that 'Of particular significance for this Kashmir sapphire is the fact that it is in excess of 30 carats, a substantial weight category, especially for Kashmir sapphires. In addition, a unique set of quality factors complements the rarity and desirability of this unusual gemstone.'
- Report no. 57209 dated 1 September 2010 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute and a letter stating that the 'gemstone of 30.077 carats exhibits a vivid blue colour, combined with an impressive purity and a very pleasant shape and cutting style'
- Report no. 7112360674 dated 4 August 2010 from the GIA Gemological Institute of America
