The case with flaming urn finials to moulded pediment, caryatids to front angles, the ormolu matted dial with engraved chapter ring set with white enamel hour numerals, a pierced mount below centred by an enamel plaque signed J. Thureb. Paris, the movement with rectangular plates and solid countwheel for strike on bell, further signed J. Thureb, Paris, now converted to anchor escapement
