With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated December 1998, setting pin, instruction manual, product literature, leather wallet, fitted presentation box and outer packaging.

Fresh to the marekt, this platinum watch is the rarest of all examples for a reference 3940 as platinum models were manufactured in smaller quantities compared to other metals. Furthermore, the present lot is in overall very good condition.

Reference 3940, in production from 1985 until 2006, was available in different case materials, platinum being the rarest. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, pp. 292-293.
