Rectangular with canted corners, covers rising to a central octagonal pedestal below reed and foliate ring handles, gadroon rims, covers engraved with arms of Pilkington of Lancashire and Yorkshire, numbered 2 & 3 , engraved with small crest to inner rim of dishes and each engraved with scratch-weights 53=11 and 53=7 respectively
