The present example features a rare signature "King Of Wings". After further research we believe Rolex watches manufactured for the Canadian market sometimes were inscribed in this way. Rolex supplied watches to the Canadian Army and also to the famous Eaton department store (who also commissioned Rolex to supply them with their famous Quarter Century Club wristwatches presented to their staff after 25 years' service.) Little information is known to the exact origins of the King of Wings signature.
