A PAIR OF IMPORTANT DIAMOND EAR PENDANTS
Each suspending an articulated pear-shaped diamond, weighing approximately 5.46 and 5.00 carats, within a circular-cut diamond surround, to the circular-cut diamond surmount, each weighing approximately 1.51 and 1.50 carats, mounted in platinum
With report 5164690 dated 20 March 2014 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that that the diamond, weighing approximately 5.46 carats, is D color, Internally Flawless clarity
With report 2135221086 dated 20 March 2014 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the diamond, weighing approximately 5.00 carats is D color, Internally Flawless clarity
Accompanied by supplemental letters stating that both diamonds have been determined to be Type IIa diamonds. Type IIa diamonds are the most chemically pure type of diamond and often have exceptional optical transparency. Type IIa diamonds were first identified as originating from India (particularly from the Golconda region) but have since been recovered in all major diamond-producing regions of the world. Among famous gem diamonds, the 530.20 carat Cullinan and the 105.60 carat Koh-i-noor, are examples of Type IIa
With report 6141625975 dated 21 March 2013 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the diamond, weighing approximately 1.51 carats, is D color, Internally Flawless clarity, with excellent cut, polish and symmetry
