Composed of a central oval pendant, one side with painted ivory miniature of a gentleman in late 18th century dress, the other with hair, mother-of-pearl and enamel miniature depicting a tomb and temple in wooded glade, within an openwork cannetille rectangular frame, suspended from a necklace composed of openwork cannetille design vari-shaped panels with shaped panel spacers, the central panel with blue, black and white enamel detailed centre, the reverse with vacant locket compartment, 45.5cm long, in fitted case
