Darryl F. Zanuck (1902-1979) produced some of the most important and controversial films in Hollywood. He co-founded 20th Century-Fox studios and helped entertain moviegoers as a producer for over 50 years. During his tenure he produced such notable pictures as The Grapes of Wrath, How Green Was My Valley, Wilson, The Razor’s Edge, Gentleman’s Agreement, All about Eve and The Longest Day. Many of his films garnered Academy Award nominations, with three of his films winning for Best Motion Picture. Darryl F. Zanuck was also a three-time recipient of the Irving Thalberg Award.
