Designed as a spray of old mine and rose-cut diamond flowers, enhanced with variously-cut emeralds, with detachable flowerheads mounted en tremblant, to the emerald and diamond tassels en papille, mounted in silver and gold, mid 19th century, accompanied by a tiara frame, in a red leather fitted case with embossed gold crown

This tiara was part of the collection of jewels belonging to the Duke G. de Leuchtenberg, who was the grandson of Eugène de Beauharnais, son of Empress Joséphine.
