拍品专文

Chen Shizeng was proficient in painting landscape and flowers but seldom painted figures. Chen did this work at the invitation of another eminent artist Zhou Zhaoxiang. Zhou was a native of Shaoxing, Zhejiang province, and a leading artist in Beijing.
The collector Liang Jinyu (1911-2003) was born in Guangdong province. He studied painting from Hu Peiheng. With the guide of his masters, he collected Chinese modern paintings for decades and became a famous collector in modern China history.
