“Il est grand comme tous les Césars, le front trop haut, ses épaules de ruthène, son application, sa science de débater, le ton de qui vient de loin, la face lumineuse et comme enchantée, l’air un peu d’un ange qui s’esclaffe, l’oeil tous azimuts qui départage souverainement l’ombre et la lumière, je ne sais quelle mathématique du fond des choses, et par-dessus tout le coeur”.
