Comprising: a mourning ring, the lozenge-shaped rock crystal bezel enclosing plaited hair, to a white enamel ridged band, the inside engraved, 'C.L. Obt. 26 July 1720 Aetat 13' with maker's initials W.C. ring size J½; a mourning ring with central hexagonal rock crystal bezel enclosing a 'memento mori' skull, to a scroll design black enamel hoop with the legend, 'JAS SHUTE OB; 20 AP: 1742 AE.32', ring size S; a mourning ring with rectangular rock crystal bezel enclosing applied wire work monogram on plaited hair in rub over setting, circa 1700, ring size L; a mourning ring with later, faceted garnet single stone bezel to entwined black enamel hoop engraved, 'THOS WELLS DIED 6 MAR 1771 AGED 65' and 'JOHN WELLS DIED 19 APR 1765 AGED 54', ring size P; a sentimental ring the circular bezel modelled as a white enamel 'soli fleur' rose in raised relief, and fluted reverse the blue enamel hoop engraved, QUAERITE ET PATRIA CESAEREM', circa 1750, ring size P; and two rings each with cushion-shaped colourless paste bezels, one enclosing an applied wirework monogram and border to colourless paste shoulders, the other of posy ring type, the inside of the plain hoop engraved, 'this and the giver is thine forever', both circa 1700, ring sizes L and P
