Cal. 727 mechanical lever movement, 17 jewels, black dial, applied baton numerals with luminous accents, outer fifths of a second divisions, three silvered engine-turned subsidiary dials for 12 hours and 30 minutes registers and constant seconds, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, black bezel calibrated to a maximum of for 200 units, screw-down crown, two screw-down chronograph buttons in the band, screw back, stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet and deployant clasp, overall approximate length 7.5 inches, case and movement signed by maker, dial signed by maker and retailer

The present watch is a rare Rolex Daytona reference 6263 originally retailed by Tiffany & Co. in New York. It is further distinguished by the “Sigma dial”, meaning that it has the Greek sigma letters on either side of the “T SWISS T” signature below the six o’clock register. The sigma letters on the dial indicate that the hour markers are made of gold.

This Daytona comes directly from the original owner who received it as a gift from his father on his 18th birthday.
