Founded in 1847, the success of Cartier resides in their daring innovations and designs. Through the Cartier d’Art limited series, the manufacture was able to combine new materials such as marquetry wood, straw and enamel with innovative themes.
Fine example of the series, the present lot has a decorated 18 karat gold, enamel and diamond-set, case with an engraved marquetry wood dial representing a parrot.

Numbered 3 of a limited edition of 20 examples only, the present wristwatch represents a rare opportunity for collectors of fine watch making.
