Pre viousl y in the Collecti on of Singaporean Collector Xiao Niangshui (LOTS 1431-1432)Xiao Niangshui was a well-known Singaporean entrepreneur and collector, who was the former agent of Subaru cars. During his frequent visits to China from the 1970s to the 1980s, he formed close friendships with artists such as Li Keran, Wu Zuoren, Huang Yongyu, He Haixia and Guan Liang, often gifting them precious medicinal materials. The paintings he received from artists in return bear testimony to their friendship and gratitude.
