Yiyuan Paintings and Calligraphy Association started as just regular gatherings in 1954 by artists and enthusiast Cui Deqi, Luo Shuzhong, Deng Fen, Situ Qi and Lin Jin, at Cui’s Yi Yuan Restaurant, the Association was officially established in 1974, and it is one of the largest and most established Chinese paintings association in Macau.
