A RARE PAIR OF DIAMOND EAR PENDANTS
Each set with an old mine-cut diamond, weighing approximately 5.05 and 5.00 carats, to the old-cut diamond surmount, mounted in gold, 2.6 cm
Accompanied by two reports nos. 2155979724 and 1176599010 dated 12 March 2014 and 28 April 2016 from the GIA Gemological Institute of America stating that the 5.05 and 5.00 carat diamonds are D colour, internally flawless and VVS1 clarity respectively; and two Diamond Type Classification letters stating that the diamonds have been determined to be Type IIa
Two reports nos. 14040135 and 16050007 dated 1 May 2014 and 4 May 2016 from the Gübelin GemLab stating that the 5.05 and 5.00 carat diamonds are D colour, internally flawless and VVS2 clarity respectively, type IIa; also accompanied by two appendixes stating that the diamonds display an antique cutting style as well as a superior quality in purity of colour and transparency unique to the finest of type IIa diamonds. Diamonds of this kind, seldom encountered in the gem trade today, are extremely rare and comparable to those famous and exquisite diamonds which originated from the kingdom of “Golconda”
