The color of the enamel with the presently offered watch is darker than most other white enamels from Patek Philippe from this era. In fact, the rich amber cream tone of the enamel appears to be the same color used on watches specially requested by Henry Graves, Jr. in the 1920s, including the Supercomplication. The presently offered watch, humble by comparison, also features almost identical hand painted Roman numerals most possibly done by the same talented artist.

Another example of watch with the same amber hue enamel and Roman numerals, movement no. 198052, is illustrated and described in Patek Philippe Museum - Patek Philippe, p. 164.
