Reference 105.003 was introduced in 1963 and remained in production until 1966 and was the last of the Speedmasters with straight lugs. The model is also remembered as the watch NASA astronaut Ed White was wearing during the first American spacewalk during Gemini 4 mission in 1965 and as a result is often referred to by collectors as the “Ed White”.

This particular example is distinguished by its desirable, original “dot over 90” bezel and 1035 bracelet. However what really sets this watch apart is its dial which has aged to an appealing tropical brown colour, giving this Speedmaster that has travelled to the depths of space, a warmer hue which can only come with age.
