拍品专文

Offered in excellent overall condition and fresh to the market, the present Patek Philippe reference 5004 in pink gold is accompanied by all its original accessories, from the second non-glazed case back to its Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin and wooden period box.

Consigned by an important private collector, the watch has been preserved and cherished with the upmost care and is accompanied by detailed receipts and conversations with the Patek Philippe salon showcasing the request of the client for the timepiece to be fitted with specially commissioned black chronograph and hour hands.

Already considered a modern classic, the reference 5004 was launched in 1994 with a production of approximately 12 pieces per year. Now discontinued, the reference has increased in desirability due to its subtle design and pedigree. Deriving its features from the reference 3970, which descends from the legendary and iconic reference 2499, the reference 5004 enters the Patek Philippe family of Grand Complications through its added and highly complex split seconds function.
