The Papillons Dada, an ephemeral series of four broadsides with texts attributed to Paul Eluard and Tristan Tzara, were issued by the Paris Dada group in December 1919. These printed papers were intended for general distribution, the first such use of leaflets as a form of advertisement in the artistic field and one that would be significant for the Dada movement and later the Surrealists.
