When this watch was launched, it was the most complicated chronograph ever made. The Foudroyante has to record time via mechanical way with the accuracy of 1/8th of a second. A split-seconds or Rattrapante was added as well. Only 150pcs in 18KWG were ever produced as it was made to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Scuderia Ferrari. This was made under contract with Ferrari Spa & it is named Scuderia Ferrari which is the racing department of Ferrari & very collectible while our price also makes it very attractive. A special certificate was issued for this watch. It was manufactured in April 2001 & hand signed by the chief watchmaker & owner of GP, Mr Gino Macaluso in July 2001.
It is a rare model in 1999, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Ferrari as a collaborative model of Girard-Perregaux and Ferrari world 150 limited edition manufactured in. Is a characteristic of 1 / split second chronograph models equipped with second hand jumps to 8 seconds? Faster than I think and move the chronograph 1 / 8 sec chronograph 45 degrees each needle can begin to move. Black Dial white index Visual visibility is better, Ferrari colors 1 / 8 second jumping second hand is point. There is also 6: use Ferrari color, etc. of the position S. F. or dial-around numbers, attention to detail, is designed charms.
