Chromolithographed frontispiece and title, lithographed dedication and 24 chromolithographed views of gardens finished by hand, 16 lithographed vignettes mounted on india paper (gutta percha perished and the whole loose as usual, some light spotting, a few short marginal chips and tears). Publisher's green quarter morocco and cloth, upper cover gilt (spine rubbed, a few light stains). Provenance: Morton Kelsall Peto (bookplate).
