PROPERTY FROM THE COLLECTION OF LUO FENGNAN (LOTS 1446-1448) Luo Fengnan, also went by the name of Qingshan, was a pupil of Qi Baishi’s, and specialised in seal carving. He was the principal of Beijing Private Northern Middle School, before moving onto selling seals for a living.

(2)Seal: Incised on the lower left corner of one vertical side carved in intaglio with the name of the recipient, Fengnan, and the artist, Baishi.
Ink box: The ink box is carved with a dedication to the recipient, Fengnan, signed, with one carved seal in intaglio by the artist
