拍品专文

According to the archives of OMEGA, this prototype watch is a predecessor of the Alaska III project.

This watch was subjected to the extensive and harsh testing to destruction demanded by NASA and which was carried out by both OMEGA and the Swiss Institute. This included severely comprising and impacting the crystal to ensure that there was no splinter break off whilst in space. To the best of our knowledge this is the only known example of a post NASA test result watch.
