Of all versions of reference 3445, the present watch is undoubtedly one of the most important, rarest and most desirable of them all. One of the exceedingly small series of only 11 known examples of reference 3445 in platinum, the most prestigious and costliest of the reference, it is furthermore highlighted by 8 round and 3 baguette diamonds as hour markers, fully confirmed by the Extract from the Archives.
The superb condition is hard to be comprehended without closer inspection. To find a watch of this importance in unpolished condition with crisp hallmarks and sharp edges is challenging enough, to find it still bearing remains of the original protective lacquer that was applied to the case before it left the factory is exceptional. With its unmarked dial showing a warmer tone to enhance the beauty of the three baguette and eight brilliant-cut diamonds, it is a collector’s dream piece.
Sold as the property of the original owner at auction in 2013, this watch has been prized and cherished by its fortunate owners ever since. Collectors are now given the all too rare opportunity to acquire a watch of such importance in spectacularly original condition.
