The unique RESERVOIR Kanister Palladium watch takes its inspiration from the speedometer of the iconic 356-Speedster, combining a breath-taking design to the spirit of freedom which embedded the 1950s decade. Combining the design from this newest Kanister collection and the famous Palladium case of the RESERVOIR Longbridge collection, this unique watch is the symbol of determination in offering fresh view on high-end watchmaking, using our patented proprietary module of complications: jumping hour, retrograde minute and power reserve.
This unique piece has been personalised with ONLYWATCH 2021 color codes which were painted manually on the dial and developed within a set of 3 leather straps inspired by car seats from this era. The watch has then been assembled and checked by our qualified and renowned watchmakers Telos in La-Chaux-de-Fonds. This is the one we have chosen to join this generous collective effort for research against muscular dystrophies.
HISTORY OF THE BRAND
RESERVOIR: a French luxury house with Swiss Made collections. Taking its inspiration from measuring instruments, RESERVOIR watches reflect the functionality and aesthetic appeal of counters, manometers, and gauges from automobile, aeronautic and diving/submarine universes. The time display is innovative combining three horological complications: the 240° single-hand retrograde minute recalls the R.P.M. counters, the jumping hour recalls mileage meters, and the power reserve display echoes the fuel gauges. 7 collections and 30 models are all equipped with a bespoke and patented module of 124 components associated with the RSV-240 movement. All models are assembled in Switzerland by a renowned watchmaker and distributed globally in 20 countries - including the USA, Japan, China, and Europe, as well as on-line and through 70 highly selected retailers. Since its launch in 2017, the collections receive outstanding reviews from watch media, the new models being regularly nominated at the GPHG in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
