Created as a very special and personal bespoke piece for the present owner, this sensational and superb split-seconds chronograph is distinguished by its vibrant green chapter ring and hand details, the FIA logo on the dial and caseback and the red crown band. The back of the case is also engraved with the present owner’s name and the date “23 Octobre 2009 President FIA”.
RM004 Felipe Massa
The RM004 was developed in collaboration with the Brazilian Formula One racing driver Felipe Massa, one of the first sporting figures to have joined the Richard Mille family. The RM004 uses highly advanced materials in order to attain optimal timekeeping performances, it features a split seconds chronograph allied with a torque and function indicator. Tackling the drawbacks of traditional chronographs, the RM004 uses a mechanism that virtually eliminates the initial jump of the chronograph hand, resulting in extreme timing accuracy.
Felipe Massa
The racing driver Felipe Massa (born in São Paulo on 25 April 1981) was racing in the Formula E Championship for the Venturi Team between 2019 and 2020. He started his career in Formula One in 2002 and until 2017 raced for different teams at the wheel. In 2006, he reached 3rd place and in 2008, 2nd place of the Formula One World Championship with Scuderia Ferrari S.p.A. Massa currently competes full-time in the Brazilian Stock Car Pro Series, driving the No. 19 Chevrolet Cruze for Lubrax Podium.
