etching, 1658, on laid paper, without watermark, a very fine but slightly later impression of the first state (of two), before the scratches in the upper centre and before Basan's re-work, printing with intense contrasts and remarkable relief, with rough, inky plate edges, the lower left corner and the tip of the upper left corner made up, a few thin spots, otherwise in good condition
