This fine and early impression of Mestre is printed on a sheet with a Triple Crescent above Letter A watermark and countermark Letters AS surmounted by Fleur-de-Lys. The same watermark and countermark (in the two variants, Bromberg 42 and 43) can be found in the complete set offered in this sale (see previous lot). In direct comparison, the quality of the two impressions is indeed very similar.
