To the best of our knowledge, the present timepiece is the first example of the 18k white and pink gold reference 26600CR to be offered at auction.

Code 11.59 was launched by Audemars Piguet in 2019 and features a radically different design aesthetic, in addition several new inhouse movements were developed for the collection. The Code 11.59 family includes a wide range of selections in both material and complications. Created as a fully in-house manufactured and integrated caliber designed to expand out of the truly iconic Royal Oak series, the name of the model comes from the minute before midnight and anticipation for the new day and what the future holds.

One of the most attractive watches in the Code 11.59 collection is the present tourbillon. The automatic caliber 2948 is a formidable piece of watchmaking at the very highest level, the finishing as expected is exceptional, it is equally renowned for its amazing good looks. The remarkable new aesthetic of the Code 11.59 case construction with hollowed out lugs, is both highly impressive and extremely elegant. For the present model in 18k white and pink gold, the skeletonized dial features a lacquered grey outer ring carrying the minute numerals.
