An exclusive collaboration resulting in a unique astronomical timepiece combining the world's smallest planetarium with a high-end Manufacture tourbillon.
Frederique Constant and Christiaan van der Klaauw, both Dutch-founded and led watchmaking brands, unveil a unique creation that combines their respective knowhow for the very first time. Frederique Constant has contributed its Manufacture Tourbillon, designed, decorated, and hand-assembled in its Geneva workshops, together with a 42mm Classic case developed especially for the occasion. The same piece features the world’s smallest planetarium from Christiaan van der Klaauw, the leading specialist in astronomical complications, showing six planets orbiting the Sun in real time. This exclusive timepiece features a cosmic dial made of aventurine, and a movement that’s been hand-finished using traditional tools and instruments by Frederique Constant’s watchmakers. All the components have been decorated on both sides – even those that aren’t visible. And for what can be seen, Frederique Constant has worked on even the tiniest details.
EXPERIENCE
With the purchase of this unique timepiece, the owner will have the opportunity to learn every detail of this creation through an exclusive encounter with Niels Eggerding, CEO of Frederique Constant, and Pim Koeslag, Master watchmaker and CEO of Christian van der Klaauw at the Frederique Constant Manufacture in Geneva.
