In this painting Zenderoudi begins with a quotation from the poetry of Hafez, superimposing and interlacing it, giving the words a floating appearance, which symbolizes various layers of comprehension of the poem. The composition is not as random as it first seems, but complex and carefully balanced. However, the interplay between different levels of transparency, with different glazes, gold and iridescent paints, accentuates the sense of congestion and disorder. This issue, underlying order behind the seemingly random, appears frequently in Zenderoudi's recent works.
